Scale and ubiquity
Enormous volume, a long history, and an integration for essentially everything. Whatever you are building with, someone has already connected it to SendGrid.
A broad marketing feature set
Marketing campaigns, template management, and analytics well beyond what we offer today. If you need a full marketing suite, we are not it.
Enterprise procurement is solved
Compliance documentation, contracts, and vendor review packets already exist. That is worth a lot in a large organisation.
Reputation isolation by default
Shared pools mean the worst-behaved sender sets everyone's ceiling. We score reputation per domain and per workspace, and stop bad senders at their own boundary instead of yours.
Raw evidence, not a normalised summary
Every event keeps the receiving provider's own response. When something defers, you get the SMTP code and the host that said it.
Open source and self-hostable
Read the implementation, run it yourself, export everything. A vendor relationship you can actually leave behaves differently from one you cannot.
Pricing that does not need a call
Published tiers with published overage rates. If a bigger plan would cost less than your overage, we will tell you rather than bill you.
If you need a full marketing suite or enterprise procurement that is already solved, SendGrid is the safer institutional choice. If you want isolated reputation and inspectable evidence, that is the trade we built for.
We do not publish competitor pricing tables. Prices change, our table would go stale, and a stale number on a site arguing that claims should be checkable would be the worst possible own goal. Compare our pricing against SendGrid's directly.
