Postmark has been operating carefully since 2010 and has the deliverability reputation to show for it. We agree with most of their design decisions — including the ones we copied.
A long operational track record
Well over a decade of running transactional email carefully. That history is not something a newer platform can claim, and it is worth real money to some buyers.
Message streams, done right
Separating transactional from broadcast sending with independent suppression is the correct design. We do the same thing, and we are not going to pretend we invented it.
Support people actually praise
Their support reputation is earned and consistently reported. If that is your deciding factor, it is a good reason.
Open source and self-hostable
Run the same code we run, inside your own perimeter, single-tenant by default. For a security review, reading the implementation beats reading a description of it.
Raw provider payloads retained
Not only a normalised event record, but the original payload it was derived from — which is what tells you whether a deferral is an addressing problem or a reputation signal.
Published methodology, before the numbers
We publish how we will measure acceptance, deferral, placement, and latency before we publish any results, and we commit to correcting in public rather than quietly.
Per-domain send regions
Sending region is set per domain rather than per account, so EU-bound mail can stay in an EU region without running a second account.
Postmark is a good product run by careful people. Choose us if you want to read the code, self-host, or keep the provider's raw evidence; choose them if a long operational history is the thing you are buying.
We do not publish competitor pricing tables. Prices change, our table would go stale, and a stale number on a site arguing that claims should be checkable would be the worst possible own goal. Compare our pricing against Postmark's directly.
